How to keep skin moisturised throughout

How to keep skin moisturised throughout

This morning I noticed that my skin is a little dry. Well, though the weather is way too humid around this time of the year, winter is something that we cannot say is round the corner.

Moisturisation, of the body is something we actually leave for the time of the year called winter. And yes we do not bother looking at our skin all year round. But for working girls, like me, who has to stay in the ac all day round, it is necessary to have something that nourishes our skin, in order for it to not look dry, dull and boring.
For the basics, we need to understand, that it is not only the winter that is drying out our skin. Lack of sweat and moisture in the atmosphere, leads to what we call dry skin. This can occur at almost any point of time of the year. IT can be summer or the monsoons when your skin starts looking dry and dull and boring. Proper moisture must be provided to skin, regardless of the time of the year.  It should be balanced enough to ensure, that it does not block the pores. Nor should it be so light that it still leaves the skin hungry for more.
While browsing the pages of the internet, looking for the proper moisture, all year round, I stumbled upon a page that stated aloe vera.
With both internal and external applications, aloe vera is a plant that works wonders for your skin, all year round. It can be applied directly on skin everyday to create amazing results. Or you can make a face pack using it to get results way faster.
There are a number of ways aloe vera can be used in face packs.
1. Aloevera, honey, turmeric milk and rose water pack.
Make  a paste with one pinch of turmeric, and one teaspoon each of honey, milk and rosewater. Now add the aloe gel to it and mix it well.
Apply the pack on your skin for 20 minutes, and let it dry. Wash it off with lukewarm water or cold water to get glowing skin.
2. Aloe vera and ripe papaya
Take a small jar and add a few pieces of papaya with two tablespoon aloevera gel. Make  a smooth paste out of it.
Now take some of the paste in your palm and massage it, first on your face followed by your neck. Make sure you massage in the upward direction. Let it dry and then apply some more. This time do not massage. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse off with cold water and pat dry.
So girls try these face packs if you want moisturised glowing skin, twice or thrice a week. You can continue with the external usage of aloe vera all year through to keep your skin moisturised.
